Warranty extension

Nilfisk products include a standard 2‑year warranty. Certain products are normally eligible for a warranty extension of 1-3 years depending on the model. This applies only when the customer registers the eligible product in our warranty extension programme on yournilfisk.com within 30 days of purchase.

LIMITED TIME ONLY | 120 Year Anniversary Warranty Extension

In 2026, Nilfisk proudly celebrates 120 years of innovation in cleaning solutions. To mark this milestone, we are introducing a special anniversary offer. For 120 days only, customers who purchase a qualifying machine via our Webshop (www.shop.nilfisk.com) between 1 March 2026 and 29 June 2026 will receive an upgraded warranty of 120 months — a full 10 years of warranty protection. Purchases made from retailers will continue to follow our standard warranty and standard warranty‑extension programme, despite what your certificate may say.

How to Register

To claim your extended warranty (standard or campaign), create an account on yournilfisk.com and register your product within 30 days of purchase. You will need to enter the product name, model, serial number, purchase date & retailer, and a copy of your receipt. You will then receive a confirmation email with your warranty extension certificate, which you can use should you need to make a claim. Please note, this only applies to certain products, see below full list of products included and their total warranty including extension:

Products by warranty extension:

1. Core 125 & Core 130

  • Standard warranty: 2 years
  • Standard extended warranty: 3 years
  • Campaign warranty: 10 years

2. Core 140, Core 150, Excellent 160, Excellent 170, Premium 180 & Premium 200

  • Standard warranty: 2 years
  • Standard extended warranty: 5 years
  • Campaign warranty: 10 years

Standard warranty

All Nilfisk products include a standard warranty, the amounts depend on the product type, see table above. There is no action required from the customer to be eligible for this.

All new Nilfisk domestic products are extensively tested in our factories to ensure high quality and performance. Nilfisk warrants to the end user that each new product is in good condition, free from defects in material, design, and workmanship for the periods mentioned above from the date of purchase.

Nilfisk’s sole obligations under this Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective Machine and/or consumable part. Machines that are repaired or replaced under this Warranty will still be covered by this Warranty for the remaining Warranty period or be covered by a new Warranty period of 6 months, whichever is the longer.

Except as expressly stated in this Warranty, Nilfisk provides no other warranties, whether expressed or implied.

Please note that your warranty is non-transferable and is only valid if you are the original purchaser.

Nilfisk Warranty is a manufacturing cover for your domestic product on the conditions stated above.

Warranty exclusions

This warranty only applies to machines purchased by a Consumer and used for domestic purposes only. No warranty shall apply for products purchased by a business and/or used for commercial purposes.

Warranty is only valid if supported by a proof of purchase from an authorised retailer. Unauthorised retailers include, but are not limited to, those selling on auction sites, private sellers and those selling refurbished products.

This warranty shall not apply to defects caused by any misuse, neglect, accidental damage, wear and tear, improper storage, installation or careless handling, frost damage/heat damage, alterations not agreed with Nilfisk, the use of incorrect supply voltage, contaminated water supply, unsuitable chemicals.

Nilfisk shall not be liable in any event at any time for any indirect or consequential loss or damage.

The rights and benefits under this Warranty are additional to your statutory rights which are not affected by this Warranty.

Warranty Claims

  1. Before submitting a warranty claim, please visit the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section on your local Nilfisk website to see if it can be resolved. If it cannot be, fill in the contact us warranty claim form here.
  2. In the event of a warranty claim, your product will be repaired or replaced with a similar model. If your model is no longer available, it will be replaced with an equivalent model that most closely matches the original. Repair or replacement of the product does not extend the original warranty period.
